♥ BYU Fiesta 2014

Every year BYU's Multicultural Student department which serves American minority students plans and organizes events for pretty much all minority groups at BYU like "Luau" for Polynesian culture, Middle eastern festival etc. The event for the Latin community is  called "Fiesta". Since I was a freshman I have always wanted to participate and when my friend Eliza invited me and Tom I couldn't say no, even though Thomas did not want to dance haha and I of course danced for MEXICO!! The theme for this year's event was "Compartiendo Nuestra Luz: Sharing Our Light." The event's purpose is basically to show people how amazing the Latin culture is by performing dances and sharing a few interesting facts from several Latin-American countries, and then followed by a dance party. Here are some pictures of some (not all) of the performances.
