This weekend was pretty much amazing for 3 reasons 1) It was Valentine's day, 2) Thomas and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary, and 3) It was president's day, so we didn't have classes on Monday. This was definitely a very corny and fun weekend! I just can't believe how time goes by so fast. This was our second V-day together but our first as a married couple! y medio año de casados!! I am just so grateful for having a man like him by my side and a cute Valentine to celebrate every year with ;)! So here is a little recap of what we did during this long weekend...

After my Portuguese class at 8:00 Tom picked me up, and when I opened the apartment's door, the lights were off, love music was playing (Alejandro Fernandez, Michael Bublé, Elvis, Train, etc; it was actually the playlist he put on when he proposed), and a delicious breakfast on the dinning table (heart shaped strawberries, toast with raspberry jam, eggs a la Tom lol, and bacon strips), a cute rose arrangement, candles, a necklace mannequin and a beautiful pearl necklace on it. (he also gave me a package of socks but he hid them behind the necklace mannequin stand, you know just to keep the glamour in the picture lol).

Believe it or not, I made these pink Rice Krispy Treats you see in the picture above! I mean it's not rocket science I just added a little bit of red food coloring ;)
I also gave him a case of protein, a shirt he liked, a homemade love card-book mark and baked him some heart cookies. ;)
